Good morning!
Slower blog start this morning as I was up with the sparrows doing some paperwork and have only just finished my run at 8.30am. Too hot at this time. But I did it. Gotta have a small achievement to start out the day.
I am celebrating my #birthdayweekend this weekend. Well, it really started yesterday, when my dear friend threw a lovely ‘do’ for me, complete with friends, cake, tea and a teensy little bit of ‘grog’. Hubby is taking me away for the weekend and has told me to pack “a frock, bling, resort wear, togs and running gear”. His words. ‘Resort wear’? ’Bling’? Maybe he has secretly been taking note of Faux Fuchsia terminology.
I certainly hope it is a resort and not an adventure ropes course or something. Running shoes? Maybe he just thinks I might like to have a run on the beach or something. I’m not too good with surprises. Please make it not be a ropes course! … or something too adventurous!
Gran and PaPa are taking the boys for the weekend … which is perfect timing, as my big son is arriving home this afternoon with a week’s worth of stinky camp clothes. Love you Gran. Good luck and see you Sunday!
February is quite nice for me … with Valentines, my birthday and our wedding anniversary all falling in the one week.
I am going to seriously milk it this year.

Happy Birthday! I had a birthday this week and every time the kids mentioned it they had to tack on my age, I don’t think they quite got that I didn’t need to be reminded exactly how old I was every second, because to them they are excited about how old they are at each birthday!
