Shop talk this morning folks, as a lot of my new Cape Cod stock is now arriving. Of course it is! … as I am not anywhere near my shed to unpack it all!
My first shipment of ‘Glass Bell Pendant Lights’ has arrived. Please email me if you have a backorder and haven’t heard from me! As I’m a one man band and always busy being ‘side tracked’, there is always one lucky customer who gets to say, ‘did you forget me?’
These ‘Industrial Pendant Lights’ are also in stock now .. finally. They are moving fast and are hard to source so they will be gone in a heartbeat.
Plenty of ‘Maine Wall Sconces’ in stock now too. Yay! They look a bit nickle-y (is that a word) in this picture, so here they are in real life. In real, real, life, they’re true ‘Antique Silver-y’.
Heartstopping. One of my all time favourites. Such beautiful quality. You’ll never guess what will be dotted throughout my next home!
Speaking of real life, here’s my Glass Lyon light, in all it’s glory, pictured up against my shed wall #theglamour
These are plentiful too now.
And a prettier shot in a happy customer’s home…..
…. and remember these? from ‘The House’? I have plenty now. My second most popular light. Second to my custom ‘Hamptons Pendant Light’ which is currently floating on the seas at the moment, very much anticipated. Hurry up Hamptons.
Have lots of my little ‘Parlour Lights’ in stock now too. These have been extremely popular. Perfect for bedsides, studies and dotted along long halls. Great quality. These come in Antique Silver and Antique Silver. I jest. I really only do Antique Silver in most things as that is my personal taste. My whole site is my personal taste. I just love lights. They stop my heart. The ‘jewellery of the home’. Isn’t it funny how you end up doing, gravitating towards, what you really love? I love lights. “Hi, my name is A-M and I love lights.”
I am expanding my Cape Cod product range this year, due to demand … a few more of my favourite home accessories, that I tend to use a lot … and some quality, well priced, furniture pieces.
I have some wonderful new furniture suppliers on board this year, so if you are after something special, let me know. I can pass on the trade discounts as I run my business as lean as lean can be. Simple maths.
I seriously love these kitchen stools. I am going through a kitchen stool obsession at present. Like lights, I believe they finish a kitchen. I’m always looking for something different but complementary to the Hamptons aesthetic I adore.
Found this tucked away in a little corner. Is this the most perfect little industrial bedside for a boy’s room? I think so. I’m so drawn to industrial accents in a classical setting. This even next to a Louis chair so works for me.
And much to my delight, I have found some beautiful quality, very reasonably priced vintage rattan furniture. Even coveted kitchen stools! In real life the colours are just perfect. See the greys? A perfect blend. Rather like the perfect blend in a spotted gum floor! … just the right mix of light browns … with rivers of grey.
The beautiful taupe cushions with white feature stitching are included! I know. I was a bit excited. Oh look, there’s my feet! #notoes @katrinas_tweets Just as well! Katrina and I don’t do toes in our feet photos. It’s not our thing. I digress!
Look! More styles. Perfect sets. Simple. Timeless. I will be loading these up onto my site in the coming days.
… and giant lined, rattan baskets on wheels? You betcha! Sourced these for a client but have made the monumental decision to have a row of these lining my next Butler’s pantry, below the shelves.
Yep, in the ‘Butler’s Pantry, directly opposite this. Going to build the bulkhead around this. I like to plan houses around furniture.
I’m heading home today, to hopefully happy clients. Found everything I was looking for and have lined up some beautiful new lights for the coming year. Can’t wait to share them with you.
Happy Wednesday! I hope it’s still not raining in Brisbane?
