The New Black

Contrasting black and white joinery. I love it. Love the inside transom too.

How about you? Do you think you could pull this look off? I’d love to try. Would just need to find a seriously good painter, who sees the vision too … or find an aluminium co. that could recreate the painted timber effect without creating a ‘too aluminium’ look!

Don’t think those beautiful floors and stunning moldings have gone un-noticed either!

Happy Tuesday!

A-M xx

Beautiful! The dark trim really does emphasis the beauty of the doors. Stacking doors are great.

Love that the stacking doors have the beautiful light detail in them and are just not plain glass like most of the stackers on the market here. xx

I love it! Can you imagine how much trouble it would be explaining to the all the various trades?

Well you know my feelings about black and white. In a word… Yes!

Oh A-M, happy birthday for the w/end! Tried to leave a comment but couldn’t, looks like you had a beautiful w/end and I just loved those cards from your boys, they were gorgeous. Am loving this image too, but cleaning those pretty windows might do me in! Have a good week x

Yep, I love it too, especially the doors. We must have wire screens here as a bushfire regulation, which does tend to defeat the purpose of everything being so open.

I love the look of the transom with black trim. Just bought a front and back door and am painting them black. They have 6 lights and will need a good painter as well.

  7. Gorgeous- I’ve got my eye on the lovely armchairs and those fabulous ceiling fans too.
