Testing, One, Two, Three ….

Goodness, it’s been a while since I have visited here! When you take yourself out of your life for a while and then come back with a thud, everything feels a bit foreign. How do I drive my car again? How do I fire up this computer? How does this washing machine work again?

I would have attempted a blog post when we arrived home yesterday but I found myself asleep at midday, along with the rest of the gang. I woke to do 6 loads of midnight washing and was then joined not long after by everyone. We sat, huddled on the sofa, eating cereal and watching trashy late night TV until the early hours of the morning. It’s going to take a while to get back on to local time so I’m taking it moderately slow, working my way through my inbox …. and attempting to load up 3000+ photos onto the computer from my iPhone. Computer is not happy. It’s hot and working hard and keeps stopping the upload. Once I get my photos sorted I’ll give you a little bit more than a photo of my midnight Vanilla Chai and late night reading.

It’s good to be back. If I keep saying it, I might just start believing it. Sigh.

A-M xx

The taking it slow is hard. Your mind sort of wants to get started again but the body just wont follow. Foggy head, tired body … doing the best I can. Your 2 weeks in the states sounds exciting! xx

Nice to hear from you. I just looked up your blog yesterday to see what was happening as I was missing your daily chatty posts. Good luck with the time change business. It took me a week to get sorted when I returned from Bangladesh (11 hours difference to Canada).
