Just Popping in

Right, I have just worked out how to do the Blogsy thing with WordPress… with some dodgy formatting. Can never get the damn paragraphs right. I just wanted to pop in here to let you know that we have decided to use the hash tag #ourwhitechristmas for our holiday snaps over at Instagram. It was a unanimous family vote.

So, congratulations Siobhan, you have yourself a beautiful lamp, which I will not be able to send out to you until I get back home next month! New Year present. If you could email me a delivery address so I have it on file, that would be great! Xx

We're heading to Paris tonight. Looks like the weather is going to be quite mild, which is good. It was so hard to pack for the cold, back in sweltering Brisbane temperatures! We have another full day in Singapore today, enjoying the humidity … then we take off at midnight tonight.

I can't sleep … which is the norm for me when I travel…. and I haven't even started on the jetlag yet! I ran on adrenalin the whole 2 weeks I was in New York, let's see if I can keep it up for twice that length of time!

I am looking forward to sharing the beauty of Europe in winter with you.

I'll be mostly over at Instagram … to save time … and Blogsy tantrums! You can find me at @thehouseofam

Back soon,

Love A-M xx

Uh oh guess I’ll have to join Instagram. Just keep blogging too, I don’t care about the paragraphs placement, just the content. And pictures please! Enjoy Paris.

I’ve loved your Instagram photos! I’ve never been to Singapore but I know Manila. The humidity is so thick! Our close friends (one Singaporean) stayed right near the 8 million dollar high rise you took a pic of on Instagram. I recognised it! Doesn’t it have a garden on top? I’ll hang out for #ourwhitechristmas photos! Exciting!

  7. We’re off on Sunday for our white Christmas and I agree with the “hard to pack when sweltering in the heat & humidity” comment. Luckily though Hubby is a genius at packing (being an engineer he loves organisation) & we’re basically all set to go with our bags. I was told today Brissie will be 36 degrees on Christmas Day. I’m glad we won’t be melting in it this year. Enjoy your travels!

  8. Quick question, A-M … I’m just looking in the iTunes store to download a Michel Thomas French audiobook for the iPad and was wondering if you did the Introductory Course (short) as well as the Foundation Course? Do I need to do the Intro course or can I jump straight to Foundation? I’ve got lots of time to kill on the plane so I can easily do both … I’ll sound a right berk though repeating “c’est possible pour moi merci” over and over ;-)

  9. Oooh, all very exciting! Love the hashtag, can’t wait to see all the photographs! Have a lovely trip. Mxxx

One more good thing….an app for iPad “panorama 360″ cost $1.99 US. Wish I’d had it in France. No lines at the Eiffel Tower …heavenly.
